The Paper Hot Air Balloon Kit contains all the materials you need to construct a paper hot air balloon.  Includes a re-usable template, tissue paper, adhesive, framing material and instructions.  The balloon is 5 feet 8 inches high, 4 1/2 feet in diameter and 15 feet in circumference.  Construction time is approximately 1 1/2 hours.  Heat over available static heat source.

Both the "Ready to Fly" Hot Air Balloon and Hot Air Balloon Kit are great ways to have fun and to demonstrate how hot air balloons work.  Balloons add zest to outdoor events -- They are good old-fashioned "technology-free" fun.

WARNINGS:  Balloons must never be allowed to directly contact either open flame or extreme heat.  The plastic balloon will tend to melt, and resist catching on fire, though it can also partially burn up.  The paper balloon will definitely catch on fire and burn up if it contacts direct flame, like all paper balloons.  Hence there is potential risk of injury, or of causing damage.

Therefore, it is very important that an Adult supervise all Hot Air Balloon launches, and that they implement and maintain all appropriate safety standards and procedures, especially if any open flame is involved. You should always wear appropriate clothing when near flame such as mens black cargo pants.  Hot Air Balloons are aeronautical devices, not toys.  And Balloonists are responsible for any risks and potential dangers involved.
